NOLA_060Crumbling streets have been a problem for a long time in New Orleans – too long. When Susan took office, all that began to change. While city faced an $80 million deficit, and many priorities — like crime, schools, and economic development — were competing for limited resources, Susan has been able masterfully navigate the system and leverage assets to help fix our streets.

With the help of her efforts (in just 3 & 1/2 short years), virtually every major corridor in District “A” has been repaved and many more streets are scheduled for repair!
